Real bride Elise in her bespoke jacquard wedding dress

These gorgeous wedding photos by Rox Pix, show how creative bride Elise put together a wonderful wedding day in January this year.

Michael and Elise had planned a relaxed wedding for close family and friends at the lovely wedding venue of Oaks Farm

Elise’s gorgeous mum, Hazel not only looked stunning on the day, but also created the astonishing display of 1000 red roses, from her florist The Flower Pot in Tadworth.

THE DRESS

Elise designed her own bespoke bridal gown, and we worked together to ensure that every detail was exactly as she wanted it. This creative bride had a clear and simple vision for her dress – as the wedding was in the winter, she wanted sleeves and a classic neckline, and the dress was made to measure right here in the UK in the most beautiful jacquard textured ivory bridal fabric.

The design process began with Elise and her mum Hazel visiting our design studio in Surrey, where she tried on some samples from the Couture Kit collection, in order to create the silhouette she was looking for, and then we drew up a sketch for her, and sourced fabric samples.

Elise also tried out our simple dress designer app which allowed her to play around with the design herself, and is a useful starting point, when exploring different silhouette components.

The back of this gorgeous bespoke wedding dress featured a simple silk bow with long tails, and a train which could be bustled up in the evening for dancing.

Friends and family clearly enjoyed throwing confetti over the happy couple as they came out of their ceremony!

The bouquets were just gorgeous – Hazel had done a wonderful job of a stunning trailing bridal bouquet and hair accessory for Elise, and posies for the bridesmaids.

One of my favourite shots by Rox Pix…showing a happy groom with all the support around him that he needs from his mates!

The lovely tones of a harpist accompanied the ceremony

Elise and Michael’s simple but stunning cake was decorated with more of Hazel’s wonderful blooms.

The newly weds found one of those rare moments to spend together on their beautiful wedding day.

The decorations in Oaks Farm reflected the vibe of the day – relaxed and simple.

…and the guests and bridesmaids clearly felt just as relaxed – wonderful to see the real emotion of such a special day.

Everyone said how much they loved getting a “proper dinner” rather than fancy food…they had steak and ale pie and Jam sponge pudding as the wedding breakfast. All beautifully prepared by 10 Flavours catering.

These beautiful red rose standards adorned the tables for the wedding breakfast.

Elise said “…the dance floor was packed from 7pm, even the DJ asked if he could carry on! The whole day was a blur but looking back…it really was the best day ever, we want to do it again! I am now gutted I can’t wear my dress again… thank you so much for helping me create the perfect dress. Me and my mum just love it…”

Thank you Elise for your kind words – it was an absolute pleasure working with you and am so pleased you had a wonderful day. I’m sure you inspired brides-to-be to think about having a bespoke dress made to measure. xxx
