Coming soon – a new online independent creative bookshop!
I’m delighted to announce that on 29th May, I’ll be able to welcome you to my new independent online creative bookshop!
Yes, I’m still Caroline Arthur, the bespoke wedding dress designer it says on my tin, and I still make and restyle beautiful bridal gowns for beautiful brides, which I LOVE.
But I want to also share with you, my passion for beautiful creative books about the field I work in – dressmaking, knitting, crochet, wedding dresses, weaving, upcycling, sewing, sustainable fashion and much more.
This cosy little digital nook is coming to my website on 29th May, when the addition of the word “shop” will appear on my website menu, so keep your eyes peeled! I hope you’ll check it out and stay for a leisurely wallow.
Why buy from me? Because you don’t need to wade through a mountain – you’ll find a curated selection of beautiful creative books, along with a few of my favourite wildcards, that you’ll want to buy, keep, use and share.
I’m offering free postage and packing, to try and level the playing field with the book-selling giants and give you a reason to support a creative indie.
It feels as though we’re all trying to embrace a slower, more sustainable pace of life and most of us who enjoy any kind of creativity, also love spending time in a bookshop. But like with many other industries, the big guns have taken over and the little indies have been closing, along with half of the high street.
I dream of having a bookshop on the high street, but until that happens, let’s have a creative book wallow online together.
