Silk Painted Wedding Dresses

If you’re looking for some colourful touches for your wedding dress then look no further. I take a fresh approach to silk painting, having learnt the techniques of this versatile medium under the expert tuition of Carole Smollan in London. I have developed my own repertoire of light, simple, pretty designs, mainly featuring the flora and fauna found in my English Country garden at Wildacre in Surrey. I paint on unwanted overstock of silk organza and then bond the design onto any fabric.

Working individually with each bride to refine a colour palette and design brief for her silk painted wedding dress, I will produce many samples for you to review, before ever putting brush to gown, in the way you would like.
